problem is in todays nba you cant make trades work like that. The money has to be within like 20 percent. IF its not, then its a no go.

I dont knwo if he gets traded or not, but if a trade happens, both sides will have to give up something decent.

kcxiv 12-18-2012 09:33 PM

hmmm.. Crazy Ron coming off the bench, gotta see how this works.

okcchief 12-19-2012 07:30 PM

Jeremy Lamb got his first meaningful minutes tonight and looked great. I think I would give Sam Presti a hand job if he asked me too. How do I get the football equivalent please?

okcchief 12-19-2012 08:56 PM

KD with 41 and 13

12 in a row.

Turn around and play the T-Wolves tomorrow. I have a feeling it's a good spot to finally take one from us SNR.

As a Rockets fan, I am glad this trade worked out. I love the Rockets' young group. Lots of trade pieces and talent on the roster. And now Oklahoma City looks great and there couldn't be a more likeable team to root for against miserable teams like the Spurs and the Heat.

Maybe. We got Miami at the end of a home game stead where they were determined to not lose. In the fourth quarter the game got waaay out of hand in a hurry. It was ugly :deevee:

Adelman has to find a way to communicate discipline to these players. It seems like there's a combo lineup on the floor that works brilliantly in the first half (usually it involves Pek-Kirilenko-Shved) and then when he gets away from that and rotates the bench out, that mojo is gone and it never comes back.

How well does OKC defend the boards and rebound? I haven't seen them play but once this year admittedly. Where we've stumbled has been when teams get it together on defense in the paint and then cause us to go completely cold on scoring for more than half of a quarter. That's when we get hurt and usually lose games.

Against OKC one of those cold stretches will be instant death like it was against Miami.

The interior defense has been pretty good overall. The rebounding kind of fluctuates. Some games Perk gets a little lazy and it becomes a problem.

Minnesota has always seemed to match up well against us though. We have a long winning streak, but they usually go down to the buzzer. The triple OT game last year in OKC had a few buzzer beaters by Love and Durant. Probably the best game I've ever been too.

Should be fun.

Yeah it was a good trade for the Rockets too. I would try my best to move Lin for other pieces though.

mcaj22 12-19-2012 11:48 PM

they will never trade Lin because the owner loves that connection to China that Yao paved the way for that franchise and Lin is the key to open that this season. And thats the formula that franchise cares about.

OKC starts off sloppy and is now down by 13.

Back to Back
Minnesota overdue to beat them
Plus, Martin being out

Not over but an uphill battle.

RealSNR 12-20-2012 06:58 PM

Already you see that all our scoring happens in hot streaks. We're either on or off. There is no in between.

This second half will be ugly if we don't get it together.

I think it's because Love and Pek have been out so long. Adelman's really not giving us much chance for success by letting the shitty bench players stay out there so long

okcchief 12-20-2012 07:13 PM

Perkins is sucking a big fat cock tonight.

Russ and Ibaka can't buy a jumper.

KD is gonna have to put up 50 tonight.

Really, impressed with Pekovich and Shved. Probably butchered the spelling on both.

okcchief 12-20-2012 07:18 PM

People are going to recognize Pekovic by the end of the year as one of the most talented 5s at scoring.

That's why these Laker fans demanding more than just Pekovic for Pau are ****ing morons.

SNR, this is the "bat" signal. You are being needed in the thread.

RealSNR 12-20-2012 08:03 PM

To reason with kcbubb?

I hit that reerun with a reason sledgehammer several months ago. I'm watching my favorite NBA team play on TNT for the first time since 2006. You'll have to hold the fort until I'm done.

O.city 12-20-2012 08:03 PM

I am and I will. Good luck Twolves

RealSNR 12-20-2012 08:12 PM

I don't know if our whiteness can hold up against the rape duo that is Westbrook/Durant.

With Ricky playing on basically 1.5 legs, we don't have anybody HALF as fast as Westbrook on this team

O.city 12-20-2012 08:16 PM

The fact that Westbrook takes more shots consistently than Durant is upsetting.

RealSNR 12-20-2012 08:16 PM

Jose Juan you sweet little man you

okcchief 12-20-2012 08:18 PM

Don't understand why Brooks is using Reggie Jackson instead of Lamb for Martin. Lamb is a much better spot up shooter. Would have been a nice game to see what he has with Martin out. Oh well......

O.city 12-20-2012 08:19 PM

Get it to Durant, good things happen. Funny how that works out.

There are games that he has the matchup and needs too. But yes, people love to hate Westbrook. He is having a sub par game tonight, but still has a chance for a triple double. He is averaging 3 more assists a game and there 21-4. That's really not upsetting in anyway.

O.city 12-20-2012 08:22 PM

I don't have a problem with the amount, it's the shot selection.

okcchief 12-20-2012 08:23 PM

God damn I hate Barrea.

-King- 12-20-2012 08:23 PM

JJ Barea playing like it's playoff time in Dallas.

As long as they overcome the injury demon they are definitely legit. Would have been a playoff team last year IMO without injuries.

RealSNR 12-20-2012 08:27 PM

Dumb call, refs.

-King- 12-20-2012 08:27 PM

I can't decide if the Wizards have a nice court or if it's ugly.

I usually hate courts with two very contrasting tones.

-King- 12-20-2012 08:28 PM

How is that a charge? LMAO

O.city 12-20-2012 08:29 PM

Official who made that call had a terrible angle. Bad call

-King- 12-20-2012 08:29 PM

So the refs swallow their whistles for 2 minutes despite obvious fouls but then they call that? LMAO

okcchief 12-20-2012 08:29 PM

Flopping piece of shit. How ironic they show a commercial for the Hobbit right after.

RealSNR 12-20-2012 08:30 PM

Refs have been calling a very fair game. I can't complain one way or the other

You called this from a mile away. The Thunder are my team, but the Wolves are #2. If this win means that they give up the insane notion of trading Love, then it was well worth it.

Dwight Howard is absolutely awful on offense.

Lakers/Warriors game was insane. Lakers down by 14 come back to win it in overtime. The end of that game was insane. So much back and forth and big shot after big shot by both teams.

Yeah Klay Thompson played a huge role in giving the game to the Lakers, he simply does not want to play defense. He is the turd in the punch bowl. Hopefully Mark Jackson has enough gumption to send him to the bench and let him watch the next 5 or so games.

Al Bundy 12-23-2012 12:19 AM

Warriors have a long way to go. Klay Thompson just isn't a winning team type of player.

Caught it from about 7 minutes on. It was a lot of fun to watch.

KC_Connection 12-23-2012 01:25 AM

Kobe is getting out of control with this shot jacking probably to the detriment of the team. Really wants Jordan's scoring record.

He will catch Jordan regardless. So its not him trying to go get that. I also think h e's gonna hang it up after next year. He left some huge hints about his body and the beating its taking.
s
You know out of all the times he drove to the paint he did not get 1 foul called AT all, he was mugged quite a few times for 0 fouls. its quite insane. He did shoot alot, but Gasol and Howard have been trash on offense, especially Dwight. I Cringe everytime he gets the ball in the paint, its really bad.

okcchief 12-23-2012 08:25 AM

41 shots is way too many. They are also taking way too many 3's in D'Antoni's offense. They really don't have enough good 3 point shooters to be doing that. Nash definitely makes them better, but I'm not sure how much better.

Al Bundy 12-23-2012 11:19 PM

Loos the Heat may want to acquire DaMarcus Cousins.

kcxiv 12-25-2012 04:02 PM

Knicks and Lakers game is pretty damned good right now. Knicks up by 1 going into the 4th.
