John Teti does, of all things, NFL coverage for the AVClub. Thing is, for all the site's deficits as sports fans, he makes up for personally as a writer.

He doesn't have the nuts and bolts common sense of say a Jon Gruden [;)], but he can downright elegiac about observations on the state of the sport.
