File and trial? When was the last time GMDM fought someone in the arbitration process?

I thought Passan followed the Royals closely?

GMDM hasn't allowed a single player to go through an arbitration hearing since he has been here.

Dumbass.

Edit: Sorry. Didn't read the last page of comments before responding to Passan's dumb tweet.

I, and many others, had the sense that DM was skipping ahead in "the process" just to get the Royals to relevance and save his job.

Fast forward to now and I'll defend Dayton to my grave dammit.

I think a whole bunch of us felt exactly the same way at the time and the same way now.

I always assumed and later a reporter confirmed they saw the SOC shit at 1 Arrowhead drive and we're worried they would be targeted next. So enter James Shields and Ervin Santana in hope of at least being in the 500 range which at the time was a huge jump and the fan base would be thrilled with that.

SOC wasn't about the play on the field. It was about the toxic atmosphere that the dipshit Pioli had created. Royals even when they sucked, the games were still fun to go to.

The Royals were not fun to watch and people were begging for Glass.to sale the team and wanted DM fired.

Either way you will have to take that up with the Royals brass that felt the better do something.

So you agree that he wasn't as good as his WAR numbers suggest?

Moving either makes it tough to see a path to contention in 2017. Return would have to be very significant, an overpay from Houston, IMO.

Imagine if GMDM would have been able to pull off a Yordano trade in December. In hindsight, that would have been a slam dunk deal.

If Dayton pulled that off he'd officially be the greatest warlock of all time. Nonetheless I don't like thinking about that after someone passes
