Oh, okay. I didn't remember that. After a quick peruse of Wikipedia, it states that Andy Reid was hired on Jan. 4, 2013 and Pioli was fired the same day.

Yes, technically Pioli was worse. I guess. It’s like AIDS is worse than gonorrhea. Pioli was worse but I was numb to it. Herm did the damage. By the time Pioli came around I was checked out. At least in terms of thinking the franchise wasn’t snakebit.
I get that perspective. However, fat Scott cut off and alienated a fan base that views its team as a vital part of the community. Remember all the player’s charity posters lining the wall of the stands around the field that went away during that time? The connection with the team was taken away. That’s why that ****er is worse than Herm.

I was at work. As I recall we always assumed but never heard any solid rumors during the year that he was going to be fired. After the last game RAC was fired but Pioli still wasn't and IIRC interviewed the Falcons ST coordinator & someone else. For a few days after the season it seemed like that bastard was going to stay around.
