Absolutely. That's why the Andrew Wiggins deal is so funny. Dude was the hands down number one pick coming out of high school...the next LeBron. He goes to Kansas for a year, doesn't do shit, and he winds up going number 1 (but by this time, the shine is WAY less than it was when he came out of high school). Suddenly, Kansas fans want to beat their chests like the four months he spent in Lawrence was some sort of golden ticket, and the school should get credit from turning the number 1 pick in the draft into...the number 1 pick in the draft. It's laughable.
Congratulations on convincing the kid to hang out while he waited for the draft...shame Stanford shit on him. Those 4 points he scored in his moment to shine while the number 2 pick jaked it really launched his career...

lol, Andrew Wiggins averaged 17 and 6 and was one of the final 10 Naismith Player of the Year Finalists. He scored 41 points as a season high second only to Michael Beasley's 44 in freshman Big 12 play.
He left school as the #1 draft pick and is cruising his way to Rookie of the Year.
All the while he did this with the #3 draft pick drawing attention and spotlight away from him.
After Wiggins' departure another 2 McDonald's All American's came to Kansas where they are currently leading the team to an 11th straight Conference Championship.
Next year is lining up to be more of the same as Self looks to land another stellar draft class.
Your world is funny.
