Probably Fitz. Basically because it seems to be commonly speculated that Fitz will play today. Not to mention, I am real conservative with rookies like Marlon Brown who have started out their first season huge. I usually prefer them to have at least 5-6 consistently productive games before I feel 100% comfortable starting them... that's just me though. |
But then again, there are articles such as this one:
Fantasy Football Week 3 Dark Horse Sleeper: Marlon Brown Marlon Brown has been surprising people since the Baltimore Ravens brought him in as an undrafted free agent this summer. Brown, a tall receiver who has the body type to be a No. 1 outside receiver, played well in preseason and now finds himself in the right place at the right time to have his breakout NFL game. And the time is right for him to land on your fantasy football radar. The Ravens are seriously thin at receiver. They traded Anquan Boldin this offseason to shed salary, then lost Jacoby Jones to teammate-on-teammate violence in the first week of the season. Brown will be the beneficiary of the suddenly wide-open Baltimore receiver depth chart. A guy who was no stranger to the big play when he was at the University of Georgia — he averaged over 17 yards per reception and scored four touchdowns on just 27 catches his final college season — Brown is a threat to score every time he gets his hands on the ball. Many times in fantasy football value comes down to opportunity just as much as it comes does to talent. You can have all the ability in the world, but if you don’t get on the field often enough it doesn’t matter. That means a guy like Brown, who is going to get snaps early and often against the Houston Texans this week, will get every opportunity to make plays and put up points for your fantasy team. If you’re looking for a dark-horse sleeper, especially in a deep league, grab Brown off your waiver wire and reap the rewards of being ahead of the curve on this guy. |

Luck will have time to go deep to Hilton against the SF pass rush and 2ndary ??? I am rarily a fan of starting 2 from the same team but against the Cowboys even in their own house who piss all over their cleats repeatedly week in and week out who are take it to the house type players Daryl/Tavon if I were in your shoes I have no problem starting these guys at least today. I assure you Jeff Fisher has given the green light to his O-coord today because he has no choice. Should be an interesting game to watch. |

I do think Baltimore is going to fall off. I just wonder if they'll have an emotional burst today. I think I'm sticking with Fitz, but that might change.

I'm sticking with Fitz too but he looked definitely hurt in last weeks game and did nothing. Hope he's a bit more healed than that.

Since many of you are more KC based, this may not apply, but I picked the Chiefs D back up and plugged them into my defensive slot where they will remain, at least until they play the Broncos. Sometimes one is afraid that you are being a homer.. don't be! Pick up the Chiefs D if it is available in your league. The Giants game which looked so bad, suddenly isn't so bad. In fact, Giants are giving up the most points to defenses right now. |

Goddamned fantasy football. |
Do you guys like Jacquizz Rodgers' value as RB #2 this week?
I've got Jamaal Charles then it's: Daryl Richardson, David Wilson, Jacquizz Rodgers. |
This weeks a tough one..
Going to use 2 rbs and 3 WR's out of J Rodgers vs pats Trent Richardson vs jags Ahmad Bradshaw vs jags Brandon Marshall vs lions Anquan vs rams Gordon vs bengals Desean vs broncs |
Quote:
Marshall, Gordon, DJax. |

Henceforth, I have KC bolted in until we play Denver or they have several bad games in a row. |

Nice swing. |
Pick three - Cruz, Thompkins, Golden Tate, Witten.
Right now I got the first three starting. |
Pick a flex option - Bold is current starter
Le'Veon Bell vs. Vikings Jared Cook vs. 49ers Kenbrell Thompkins vs. Falcons Nate Washington vs. Jets Daniel Thomas vs. Saints |

Cave - trading Hopkins for Pierce.
Do you start Pierce over Jacquizz? Pierce isn't splitting at all this week with Rice hurt. |
Start 2 of 3 WRs:
Anquan Boldin @ St. Louis Kenbrell Thompkins @ Atlanta Josh Gordon vs. Cincinnati Right now leaning toward Boldin & Gordon |
Randall Cobb is on bye. Start 2:
Bowe vs NYG Tavon Austin vs SF Nate Washington vs NYJ Sidney Rice vs HOU |

I gotta toughy
EJ Manuel at home against Ravens (21st pass defense) or Russell Wilson at Houston (2nd pass defense) |
I see a lot guys asking for help, but not lending their opinion on other matters.
That's pretty ****ing annoying. |

Goddammit.
Thought I had a deal for DMC, and the guy strung me along for two days before declining. Pick a RB: Joique Bradshaw F-Jax |
Stafford or Pryor? FWIW, I also have Megatron.
Also, pick two - Moreno, Matthews, Joique Bell, Daryl Richardson, or Ridley? |

Richardson Bell Moreno/Ridley is a toss-up and Richardson is banged up and going against SF, but he's now probable, Thursdays are good for RBs, and SF D has been torched by RBs this year. |

I also like DR's ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. I hope he's AWESOME tonight. Got him plugged in. |
Quote:
Only concern is how many touches Pead gets and if Richardson gets bothered by his foot again. |
Quote:
Ridley can DIAF. |
Bradshaw has missed two practices in a row with some neck issue. I'm probably going to sit as they'll go with a heavy dose of Richardson, IMO.
|
Daryl Richardson with a solid first half.
ROFL |
D-Rich with 2.4 points. PBJ
At least Bowman made up for it. |
Quote:
His schedule during the fantasy playoffs is pretty sweet if you still trust him then. ( Arizona again, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay ). |
Quote:
I sacrificed my RBs for WRs - Megatron, Dez, and Roddy White. |
Quote:
Probably gonna play Washington to neutralize some of Jake Locker's points (the guy I'm playing has Aaron Rodgers on bye). So now I'm still struggling between Bowe, who I hope just for KC's sake gets it going this week, and Rice, who had a big week and could help me compound Russell Wilson's points. |
I would roll with Rice until Smith and Bowe decide to start gelling.
|
choose a flex:
Antonio Brown vs Vikings (my lean) MJD vs Colts (people seem to think he can poach a td against bad run defense) or sit Fitzgerald for Brown (Fitz is facing revis and tampa defense) and then start MJD at flex (not a fan of this option, but putting it out there) |
Start Fitz and Brown.
|
I'm sitting Fitz (for Edelman). Revis has destroyed WRs this year, and Fitz may still have a lingering hammy issue.
Of course, that means he will go off for 100 and 2 TDs. |

thanks, guys...i try to stay with my best players as i usually out smart myself otherwise...but always the temptation to tinker
|
Cj2k vs jets or spiller vs bal assuming hes playin?
|
Should I put Joique Bell at RB#2 and remove Matthews? Then put Golden Tate at the flex?
Or keep it as is - Bell at Flex, Matthews at RB#2? Do you guys like Kenbrell Thompkins value this week? |
Who to start?
Joque Bell or Julian Edelman in a flex? I've benched Stevan Ridley for Lamar Miller as well. |
Tyler eiffert vs Cleveland
or Dallas Clark vs Buffalo |
Phillip Rivers or Andy Dalton?
|

Do you really start Vick@Giants over Rodgers@home vs Detroit?
|

Pick two:
Bell @ GB MJD @ StL Moreno @ Dallas Richardson v. JAX Ridley @ Cincy |
Charles is RB1 this week, duh.
Do you like Daryl Richardson or Rashad Jennings more this week? |
