Don't compare the heat or any other team to the BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS!!!! That's an insult...

A team losing 3 in a row because it's going through the motions on defense is the same as a team losing 3 in a row while trying to get its coach fired? You don't honestly believe the shit you shovel in these threads, do you? Tell me you're just playing devils advocate here. |

All these little leaks from Maverick Carter. "He wants to work; we want to chill"... Yeah, sounds like these guys are really working hard for their coach. Nevermind the fact that there are sources throughout the league saying that LeBron and Wade are essentially telling Spo what to do (Like James telling him he wants to play with Z). These guys are running amok down there and James has a history as a coach killer. But you just keep your head in the sand. I hear there's a lot of it down in South Beach. |

Hey, I think they just put the end of the Lakers-Mavs games on the Garden Jumbotron.
http://raptorsrepublic.com/wp-conten...-laughing1.jpg The Celtics may not advance either, but at least they won a game and didn't get ass-raped in public. LMAO |
Gotta love haters.

Watching the Lakers lose is always enjoyable. |
The Paul Reiser show thinks the Lake show went down in flames.

I'm probably as bothered by the behavior of a couple of the players than I am the massive collapse of the Lakers' dynasty.
Either way, the Mavs deserve high credit for exposing the Lakers the way they did. Just a tremendous team effort. I can't think of a team that had such amazing bench play. So congrats, Mavs fans. |

The notion that you have to live in the same city as your favorite sports team is the dumbest ****ing thing ever. There are tons of Yankee fans all across the country, but there are some real big diehard fans that have been fans their whole life and lived outside of the triboro area. Doesn't make them any less of a fan. |

I have several fans who loved the Yankees in the late 80s when they were losing and they weren't from New York. I like the Chiefs because of Christian Okoye. If winning had anything to do with it, I would have just been a Steelers fan. |

Lakers are slow and old as shit. So long Lakers. Your run is done...

They mentioned on the radio apparently one of the problems was Gasol's girlfriend dumped him and he felt Kobe's wife was in her ear was a big reason behind it LMAO

How did I miss this? http://newsflavor.com/entertainment/...heating-again/
Did the well known basketball star get caught cheating again? Everyone is familiar with Kobe Bryant the Los Angeles Basketball player for the Lakers. That is if your a fan of basketball. Well lets familiarize the people who are not familiar with his story. Well first of all he has been married for a while to a woman named Vanessa with whom he has two kids. Some years ago Kobe was accused of rapping a hotel worker. He went to trial he publicly apologized to his wife, and was probably fined or sued by the woman he was accused of raping. He cried as he asked his wife to forgive him. She obviously did because they are still together. Well sources say that Kobe was supposedly served some paternetiy papers durring a recent game. Rumors lately are that he has a love child with a jumpoff or mistress that he moved to Itlay where he grew up. The woman who ever she is is threatening to talk. Sources say that she is eager to return to the states. Uh oh I wonder if his wife will stay with him if this is true this time. She is crazy if she does. There is that saying once a cheater always a cheater. I hope that it is just some media bull because I never wish heart break on women because we already go through enough in life. I wish them the best and will keep you guys updated on any new news I find out. Read more: http://newsflavor.com/entertainment/...#ixzz1LsKVzI5W |
Thank god that's over.
This was a tough team to root for for most of the season. They just don't listen to anything....ever. It's a bunch of sullen brats that just do whatever the hell they want. They're old and stubborn. Gasol needs to go. His play since the AS break has been embarassing. Fisher needs to go as well; Kobe Bryant cannot be expected to cover Fisher defensively anymore and still contribute offensively. Fisher's defense has degraded to the point that it detrimentaly impacts the Lakers offense - that can't happen. They're probably stuck with Artest. Fortunately Odom is cheap so he's worth his contract. He's still dumb as a rock, but at least he doesn't cost much. Blake and Barnes were major disappointments this season, but I wonder how much of that was injury related. I also wonder what the hell happened to Brown. They played so far below their talent this season that I'm mostly just glad to see the season done with. The way they sent Jackson out is embarassing, but it's clear that Jackson needed to go. Further, I think it's also pretty apparent that Shaw isn't the answer either, not if this is how he's 'assisted' Jackson this year. I think they should consider Byron Scott, personally. |

I have no idea what happened between those two but IMHO if a girl brings false rape charges there should be a havey penalty including jail time. OTOH Kobe should have been sentenced to a few days in the slammer for being guilty of Public Stupidity for getting himself into that one. |
im down with scott ive been saying he should be phils replacement since his first retirement. i like bshaw but i dont think hes got the stones for the pressure in la. we're pretty much stuck with gasol. 19 mil a year going forward for a guy who obviously aint a bigdog aint real attractive to many teams. should be interesting to see how the new cba turns out, hopefully better than this nfl shit

The same folks that are always going after Kobe on this always screw up the timeline and have never bothered to do the legwork on it. I've gone over it several times on here, but it seems like it pops up again every May/June. Essentially, the case was absolute dogshit. The woman never did get her story straight and the circumstantial evidence against her just kept mounting. This was a situation where Bryant's celebrity actually hurt him. Had she just said some random college kid raped her, it's unlikely that charges would've even been filed. The evidentiary record for this thing was completely barren. |
