Wife was just saying that Fox4 news mentioned potentially 27’ inches of snow on Xmas eve. Anyone else hear that?

Whoever said that must've been nuts.

wouldn't that be a good thing if we are playing a southern team?

From your NWS-but it is 6 days out.

Friday Partly sunny, with a high near 34.
Friday NightPartly cloudy, with a low around 22.
Saturday Partly sunny, with a high near 35.

Frankie says no.

gblowfish 12-17-2017 03:07 PM

Um, my forecast planner says partly cloudy and 35. Nothing about 27 feet inches.

Buehler445 12-17-2017 03:38 PM

They added 4 tenths of an inch of snow to my forecast.

Older guys growing up in the Midwest can you recall a winter or lack there of like this before? I remember plenty of times it being mild through November but once December hit temps always would plummet. Nothing like this though.

I remember as a kid we would get a foot of snow one day, then it would be 75 the next day. Nothing like sledding in your shorts and snow boots.

I think the seasons have been gradually shifting the last few years. It's warmer later into December, but stays colder into March.
