So should I post about the new character Lara in this thread, or the Better Call Saul thread?

Not the best.

The writing seems a step below that of lat season...

A weak episode.

After the first 2, it seemed like a major comedown, yeah.

But it was also the kind of episode that every series has - a 'moving chess pieces' kind of episode. It introduced a new major character/organization and shifted some pieces into place.

Can't have the throttle down every week. Sometimes you have to set some things into motion and decompress. There were still some pretty entertaining bits in there and that's good enough for me.

This. Too though, imho season 1 was that rare species where not a single episode was slow.

It was cool seeing them on Bourbon Street, as I was there about a month and a half ago.

I look forward to the "Eugene meets Hitler" side story. LMAO

Is this show losing steam?
I don't know if would keep watching if it weren't for Tulip. She's got personality.

No, not at all! For me, at least. The last episode was a little slow-ish, most flashback shows are, but I still look forward to it every week...

frankotank 08-02-2017 12:01 PM

Anybody still watching?
I had a literal laugh out loud moment with this show last night.
They lady is screaming and screaming and SCREAMING!
I thought OH BOY! this is gonna be GREAT! it's gonna be a pig monster or something really COOL!

and then....wah wah wah....really lady!? THAT had you screaming like somebody just gutted your children? made me laugh.
out loud!

DJ's left nut 08-02-2017 12:05 PM

Love it. The introduction of Herr Starr was outstanding.

frankotank 08-02-2017 01:34 PM

hard to pick a favorite "contest" he won....but I think I'd go with the seducing....even though I saw that coming.....still made me laugh.
