The argument is that Ned Yost is an average manager. You aren't getting more than an average manager in KC. I really don't know who you expect the Royals to have in the dugout? Have you not witnessed the managers in KC for the past two decades?

And I'm in the group that baseball managers decide way few games than everyone continues to think. I'm talking less than a handful +/-. And you really can't judge it because they never get credit when a right move was made, only the bad moves are magnified.

I'm in the group that KC needs a very good front office and manager to win. Yost isn't (or at least hasn't been with our core) an average manager for our core youth. They have sucked; Eiland has been awesome and saved Yost.

That was my thought exactly. I know I'm done with a guy when that's the most positive thing I can say about him.

1 run on 10 hits.

Al Bundy 07-08-2014 08:10 PM

Well... I think it is safe to say Billy has zero power at this point.

I just tuned into the Yahoo scoreboard kinda late...How the hell do the Royals have 10 hits and a couple of walks and yet only 1 run?

exactly

Team is not used to dealing with pressure. When everyone expects you to lose there isn't real pressure. When your manager coddles you and is your best friend instead of your boss, there isn't real pressure. When you have that stupid ass attitude that 'baseball is a long season, 1 bad at bat doesn't matter, 1 game lost doesn't matter, can't get too up or too down about anything" there is less pressure.

team is pussified
