Blues need a goaltender to really compete for the Stanley Cup. Elliott and Allen won't cut it come playoff time I'm afraid.

Allen won't see the ice in a playoff game, unless in reserve duty or as an injury replacement. Elliot is Top 10 in both GAA and Save %, so unless he falls apart, we should be fine.

Headed to my third Penguins/Avs game on Wednesday. Last year, Crosby was a very late scratch (as in, minutes before we headed into the Pepsi Center). If he's scratched this time, I might throw my jersey on the ice :)

There's a cool documentary on Netflix (from a 30 for 30) called "Of Miracles and Men" that is all about the Miracle on Ice from the Soviet team's perspective. It's pretty interesting if any of you are interested.

Brutal way to lose especially since LA won and is only one point back of the Jets now.

He didn't see it until it was at his glove. Either wasn't paying attention or just never picked it up.

Either way, it bailed us out of what was an otherwise awful period of hockey.
