Pepperidge Farm's CRUNCHY chocolate chip cookies are the bomb! I buy either 4 or 6 different bags of these at Harris Teeter each time they have a BUY 1 GET 1 FREE sale. I HATE mushy or soft cookies. Famous Amos also makes a good cookie.

I forgot all about Pepperidge Farm. Those are also excellent.
I was trying to think who made the white chocolate macadamia nut ones, which I like more.

I must unfortunately disagree. My friend's grandmother used to bake all kinds of Christmas cookies each year and make a plate up for all his friend's families. They were ALL undercooked and also gritty from the sugar and flour not being properly mixed.

We always thanked them then turned around and sadly tossed them in the garbage!

My grandma (RIP) could bake cookies so good that you would gladly slaughter your dog or best friend for a plate of them. She wouldn't make you do that, she was a wonderful woman, but they were that good.

My snickerdoodles are unambiguously the best on earth, but my chocolate chip aren't far behind. But it's not my creation as I just follow the Neiman Marcus recipe to the letter. If they do the same, I'd be hard pressed to know who makes better.
