Only one way to prove them wrong.

This is really a season-defining game in more ways than one. We win tonight and I can easily see us at 6-3 going into the Patriots game while both the Raiders and Chargers are 5-4 at best.

I thought it was pretty spot on... Carter was saying exactly what everyone here was saying before the season started. Sometimes the next step for a rebuilding team isn't 11-5 or 12-4, but 9-7, and if they could do that despite the injuries, people would be happy.
