Manning received 40 votes to Brees' 8 lol

2009 is Brees' best claim to having an MVP-worthy season, but even then I'm not convinced he deserved it over Peyton. Apparently not many others were either.

KC_Connection 12-17-2018 09:41 PM

How can anyone who has watched Mahomes play this year think Brees is anywhere near his level?

Baby Lee 12-17-2018 09:42 PM

Sitting there wondering 'any chance the Panther's 2ndary doesn't know it's asshole from it's elbow on this conversion attempt?'

NOPE!! Wonder how they figure things out so fast?

Hammock Parties 12-17-2018 09:42 PM

At least Brees has cracked the end zone for one team.

I've only attended one playoff game in my life - and it was a Saints loss to the Bears in the 2006 NFC Championship Game. Brees lost to Rex Grossman that night.

Yes, the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL by a fair margin. Chargers are probably #2.

Good God Cam Newton sucks

tk13 12-17-2018 09:44 PM

I actually think Mahomes deserves the award at this point, but the number of people taking a crap on Brees career when he's just about shattered every passing record that has ever existed is certifiably nuts.

RunKC 12-17-2018 09:44 PM

Passing yards: 159
2 point INT: 97

Good job “MVP”

DRM08 12-17-2018 09:45 PM

Cam Newton with the ugly ball in the dirt. Bizarre throwing motion/windup.

InChiefsHeaven 12-17-2018 09:45 PM

Lord, Cam Newton sucks. Drew Brees is proving he's not the MVP. do any of these assholes want to win this game?

Career.

MVP is a seasonal award given to the player who has the best season in that particular seasonal seasony season.

Far too much presumptive butthurt over Mahomes not winning an MVP d/t Brees 'round these parts. There's a great chance Mahomes wins the MVP, and if he doesn't, didn't Manning prove how meaningless all of his MVPs were given his career playoff performance?

If anything, you should hope Mahomes doesn't win the MVP. It will make him cheaper come time to renegotiate his rookie deal.
