Yeah, even a total @$$hole like me can make friends with rival fans. I've been on the Mane since it started and posted on the DPO forums before the Mane existed. That's the fun of it - getting to enjoy the win. Giving your friends $#it when you win and having to eat it when you lose.

It's why sports is fun.

I really like the people over at the Mane. Mostly very good people and they're close over there like most of us are on here.

Oh I agree, but you walked into a very volatile situation. We had just been through a cluster****, miserable season that capped off numerous horrible coaches, personnel decisions, fan revolt, and a terrible player murder-suicide.

We were excited about getting Andy and many were masturbating furiously to the concept of drafting our own franchise qb....And then we traded for Alex. Needless to say many hated the idea and, quite frankly, almost a season and a half lately have only warmed up to the idea. You came here as a fan of the man we acquired that many despised. Needless to say it wasn't going to be nice sweet talks culminating with late night hand jobs in the shower.

It will definitely be a tough matchup, but Denver should be able to plug in the holes on offense to beat a team like BUF in Denver. They just haven't shown up for the most part in the last few games. Call it whatever you like, but I think they've bought into their own hype and it cost them big time.

The OL has issues and the defense has yet to meet a 3rd and anything at a pivotal point that they didn't allow to convert. It's mind boggling at times.

Plenty of blame to go around and mark my words, McManus will cost them a win when it matters. I don't like him.

That being said - they can still win the division. Unfortunately, they need to shore up a few areas before I will get too excited about playoff greatness.

I'm glad that KC has the perfect anecdote for a great secondary - a passing offense that would make Trent Dilfer sprout wood. That is not sustainable beyond the playoffs.

But, we'll see... it's happened before. Denver will need to pull a 180 over the last few weeks if they are to have a chance at winning in KC. There's no doubt about that in my mind.

I wonder when Oakland will get their first win... I'm not predicting it would be this week, but after the big win vs SEA and traveling west for Thursday night... this place will melt down should that happen.

Denver is having offensive line probs. don't think they wanna come into Arrowhead with O line probs. also their run game sucks and as we know Manning can't make many plays with his legs. I think we beat them. If we can get our offense running at Arizona we should have it made! Then pray someone hands NE a loss!

That's a simplistic elementary view. We were outcasted for believing in Alex Smith when he was actually the starter, and essentially scarlet lettered when he was benched, even though we still supported the team.

I haven't visited the Mane in years... been a long time. When I ran that fantasy football site, I visited a number of other fan boards. I ran into this group back on the Star board, before that exodus. I get bored yapping with other Broncos' fans... I like the varying opinions. Back in the day, this place was greatness. It's still ok, just not as cool as it was... but, that happens over time.
