Way too satanist for the mainstream but damn are they good musicians.

You know who I've missed out on? Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
Not sure how. Check it. Oh, and Shpongle. |
[QUOTE=patteeu;11546275]My daughter and I got to see The Damned at SXSW this year (both a new rockumentary and a live performance*) and whenever I tell people about it, no one seems to know who they are.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rTfyUqVqX-0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Big Damned fan over here. Listened to them quite a bit back high school. In my punk/Oi days. |

Not sure if Hayden made it S of the border but he did alright up here in the mid 90's and for a bit after that. This song totally takes me back to the old days. Normally, I listen to heavier music but now and again something like this will catch my ear and stick.

Not sure if they got mentioned yet but Reverend Peytons Big Damn Band is pretty stellar, and put on a great live show

Poop Swastika is worth checking out, even though their first 2 albums are way better than the new stuff.

Not a band, but **** i can't stop listening to the awesomeness of this album. Listening to this makes me feel like i got zapped with a bolt of lightning and sent back into the 80's where i drive around in my Lambo Countach hitting up the clubs and distributing coke to all the fine bitches of Dade county.

Tomorrows Bad Seeds.... This band hails from Hermosa Beach Cali. Very cool blending of genres rock, alternative, punk, reggae, hip hop, and more. They've been around since 2004 and have 4 CDs out as well as a few singles.
Just showing their diversity. Here's some hip hop influence with live instruments <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/63Z9gnayRW0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> A little punkish <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/G8Tf-r1NVYU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Acoustic punk <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/EXvdcuxvP5g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> RnB/alternative <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7lia16i9Pqk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Reggae rock <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xWIBGWPDSvo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
