The grinding to the point of your teeth breaking might be signifying intense anger or fear or both as a child. But the ability not to open your mouth comes from either not allowing to be heard as child or the fear of not eating or having enough to eat as a child or both. Did you grow up in very humble circumstances with parents that did not allow you to speak your mind/heart ? With your pessimism being an issue I'm guessing as a child anything potentially positive that was in reach for you more often than not never occurred so why bother setting yourself up emotionally only to be let down because one or both parents were consistently negative all the time? Did your parents ever divorce ? You struggle with self-worth ? And if so, in your mind that any self-worth MUST BE EARNED(or attained) and there is no such thing as value for the sake of value because it must be earned?(this is the dysfunctional message you fight in your head?)

that's actually another strange fear, being called a n00b on chiefs planet, or being punked by a poster you've always respected and admired. Had been a fear of mine since 2003

Five month old sons who wake up at the butt crack every morning.

God damn junior let dad sleep!

I used to have the missing class fear or forgetting I enrolled in a class and got an F. Those subsided a couple of years after I finished school. My gf still has those sorts of dreams and she's been out of college for a long time.

One irrational fear I have is leaving the house and thinking I didn't close the garage door. It's never happened because pressing the garage door button is a reflex reaction after doing it for so long. It still doesn't make me feel better if I'm half way to work and wonder if I actually hit the button.
