This is well run so far, folks. Props to chiefscafan.

1.25 Seahawks select Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
Yet another weapon for Russell Wilson. Eifert is going to make this offense very tough to scheme against. |
With the 26th pick in the draft, the Green Bay Packers select...
Margus "Eastern Block" Hunt DE SMU Green Bay is going to try to make and utilize this guy much like how the Texans have done with J.J. Watt. |
With the 27th pick of the draft. The Houston Texans select............
Wr DeAndre Hopkins. Clemson. Another weapon and takes some pressure off Andre. Too high at this point for a 2 down ILB. Plus draft has good depth at other areas of need. Will pm Argo |
Holy crap this draft is starting to move along quickly, I was hoping we would start the 2nd round by weekends end. It appears we just may.
|
Thank you everyone just doing my job :)

The Denver broncos select eddie lacy, running back from bama. Best rb in the draft improves an already killer offense.
I didn't like my defensive back options. |

OK, I scoured the list twice and can't believe the second best CB in the draft has fallen to the Pats who had the 29th ranked pass defense last season.
With the 29th pick of the draft, the New England Patriots select Xavier Rhodes, CB, FSU. |
The Falcons have some needs, I was hoping Lacy would fall to here (really think the Packers could have used him) and too early to take the 2nd best TE to replace Tony G. Considered a trade with New England for their second TE, Aaron Hernandez, but as I am drafting for both teams, there might be some conflict of interests perceived.
To help with the eventual loss of Abraham, the Atlanta Falcons select Alex Okafor, DE, Texas. |
They've already cut Abraham, so good pick.
|
The San Francisco 49ers select Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
justin smith is 34 and up for a contract BPA |
With the last pick of the 1st round, the Baltimore Ravens select: ILB, Kevin Minter, LSU
With the retirement of Ray Lewis, the spot next to Ellerbe needs to be addressed. Kevin Minter won't bring the same impact as Lewis did to the field, but he'll be a solid contributor in keeping the Ravens D a top tier group. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/RybIpxUVefo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
