Wouldn't he have been able to see if something was in there? At least something that could kill him that violently, that fast?

I can't remember the guys name (Lord Arryn maybe) who was poisoned in the beginning of the show, but he had a longer drawn out death if I remember.

Yes, it was empty at the time she picked it up and handed it back. Joffrey then wanted it filled.

You know who we have seen that is a political manipulator but was absent from the wedding?

Littlefinger.

Thank Christ that little asshole is dead.
I hope it was Sansa that delivered the coup de grace.

I'm really surprised that it happened in the 2nd ep. But that's cool... sets up a ton of stuff for the rest of the season.

Haven't seen him in a while. He's off raising his profile with the Arryn family last we saw, not sure what he would gain out of it.

He left a while ago by ship I believe. Sansa was going to go with him until it was decided she would marry Tyrion.

He got off entirely too easy IMO.

Causing chaos? Only real way for a smaller lord to raise his station is to kill off the lords above him after all.

He's going to need to cause a ton more chaos in that case. There's a lot more in front of him.

Something else occurred to me tonight as Bran saw visions while touching the tree. As a warg, might he someday be able to "control" one of the dragons?

Wars tend to kill a whole lot of nobles.

Goddamnit, I clicked on the wrong Game of Thrones thread and spoiled the outcome of who killed Joffrey.

Uh, I don't think anybody knows for sure.

You might have found out who didn't.
