ROFL I just opened this thread for the first time afaik and was absolutely treated to this whole exchange.
|
I just got in the Chinese Trio $15.29/per - they're a different material - seems to be a wrinkle-free of sorts. Washing the fold marks out now.
Awesome style though IMO: http://i.imgur.com/gLO6JXf.jpg http://i.imgur.com/V7XBrmm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kVafRpK.jpg |
Do we have any boot wearers in this thread? Looking for some advice on getting into the boot thing. I'm not convinced it's for me, but I'd listen to any thoughts people have on the subject.
You're all very nice, TIA. |

I found the Red Wing exchange, and those are what I have been looking at this morning. I think NewChief has it nailed, it's the lumbersexual thing. Imagine the complete opposite of that, and you have an idea of my style. Not sure I can commit to pulling off boots as a daily part of my wardrobe. It just seems like something that looks good on some people, but not my small blonde haired self. |

My problem is that those Chukkas might barely fly at my current job, the Iron Ranger types would never fly there.
It's very much a business casual / professional environment. I see guys on other floors who get a little more leeway with their wardrobes, they can pull off a lot more with the boot look. So if I went with almost any boot, even these conservative ones, they would mostly be worn on nights/weekends. I'm not sure if I can make that investment for something I'll only wear, maybe, 20% of the time. |
