I actually feel sorry for Clay. I have seen other examples of JW children like him. Clay is not just a ****ed up unit, he's a whole sackful of ****ed up unit.

I'm not baiting him, I'm trying to spark maybe one shred of self-awareness, or something. I'm really on his side.

If the day ever comes that he actually "gets it", I hope it goes well for him.

What always got me about the Geno Smith fellators is using his college stats to justify his selection at 1.1. His Air Raid stats were no better than Seth Doege and not as good as Case Keenum's, and nobody of course wanted those guys.

Of course, Geno Smith is a better prospect than those guys because of his physical skills. Geno Smith may develop into a good QB, but it's not going to be because his stats in college guaranteed it.

Geno Smith is no more ready to start the season than Tyler Bray -- he's a project and had no business going at 1.1.

Clay would be going on a rampage. One hand typing on CP and the other stroking it to his Anti-Alex euphoria.

There's a big difference between a rookie QB on the ****ing Jets playing like that and a veteran quarterback you traded multiple second-rounders for playing like that.

That's not the point, at all.

I've said since November that the guy had poor pocket presence and wilts under pressure. He's a checkdown king with little to no leadership skills.

He may develop into an average to above average QB. But he was NOT worthy of first round selection, let alone 1.1, because he is NOT NFL ready.

Tonight's game proved that notion.

And we said repeatedly, you asshole, that we didn't want to select him to start right away, but to sit a year and learn.

But in Dane-World, that just isn't how it's done! God you are a ****ing asshat. Quit crying about how you were so mistreated by fans of Geno, you ****ing bitches twat.

What you SHOULD be crying about, is that goddamned, worthless LOSER we picked up from San Francisco, and who is going to absolutely WASTE two or more years of our lives with his Cassel-esque ****tardation.

And if you REALLY THINK it's going any other way, you are clearly more goddamned, ****ing stupid than I will EVER be. Good day, and go **** yourself.

Twice.

Because it's Sunday.

Can anyone tell me that while completely accurate for Geno Smith, (I BELIEVE THIS, I HAVE SAID IT OVER AND OVER) but when I said the same thing about Alex Smith, who was in just as bad of a situation when he was drafted that its just an Alexcuse?

I was told that if Aaron Rodgers were drafted instead of Alex Smith that Aaron would of single handedly raised the 49er franchise.

I am a firm believer that certain qbs can overcome certain things. But, if you have as much dysfunction as a team like the Jets has, the Lions had for years under Millen, the 49ers had from 2003-2010, that it is almost impossible for a team to succeed, much less a qb that has way too much required of him, and doesn't have the coaching, or front office that is equipped to build around the qb.

There is Civil War going on in New York right now. Geno Smith who I believe is talented, is being looked at as a savior, that was drafted aboard the Titantic that had already hit the iceberg and was taking on water.

Not really at all. If you make the variables comparable, and you compare Alex Smiths first season, to Geno Smiths first season, its absolutely almost identical.

Both were expected to beat out lame duck qbs, Tim Rattay, and Mark Sanchez, both had far too high of expectations placed on them by their fan bases, and neither were ready to play immediately.

Remember, history repeats itself.

Geno Smith is going to bomb out in New York, and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with his skill set. He is absolutely an NFL qb. But he is going to have to find his Sean Payton, or Mike McCarthy to get there.

9er guy 08-25-2013 09:33 AM

Geno looked like the hot turd that he is last night.

Mr_Tomahawk 08-25-2013 09:35 AM

Replace Alex Smith with Tyler Bray in the Poll and then this thread is interesting...

I'm starting to think Bray vs Geno is the angle myself.

Smitty's out of their league.

Insert Alex Smith haters name here...."Yeah, comparing a rookie, to an 8 year vet, that's logical....DUMBASS."

Lol.

Anyone who was for drafting Geno at 1.1 should be banned from this board for a year, and an additional year should be tacked on for every season that passes without them admitting they're idiots.

We can start with Gochiefs who was also in Brodie Croyle's camp a few years ago.:doh!:
Dude a wordsmith you are, but you DON'T KNOW D!CK ABOUT QB's!

Geno has it worse than Alex did. While Alex did join a dysfunctional team (which top pick doesn't)...he still had some decent pieces. He's had Frank Gore his entire career. He had Vernon Davis for the majority of his career. He also had good coaching in McCarthy, Norv, Martz for the first 4 years of his career. It all went to shit when Singletary arrived but I'd much rather be in Alex's shoes than Geno's.
