how far have you gotten on your warlock

You need to get to work. I killed a character last Friday and have my warlock up to 28 already.:D

I havent been playing to much the last 3-4 days. once i hit 24 and the leveling up pretty much stopped. I didnt know what to do. Do i just keep doing the same 3 strikes over and over? Unless im missing something?

That and i been playing alot of h1Z1 and MLB The Show.

OK the big issue is that you haven't received any legendary armor yet. Until you do, you won't level up any further. ONe thing you have to do is play the strike playlist at the highest level you can handle. Make sure you do the Eris bounties as well. Both of those drop gear randomly. If you haven't done the Daily Story Mission you need to do that as well. Another option that should be open to you now is the Weekly Strike. All of those will eventually drop the gear you need.

Your other option will come from your vanguard Marks. You earn those by doing the daily mission, weekly strike and the strike playlist. When you get to at lease 75 marks and achieve vanguard rank 2 you will be able to buy the legendary gear you need. The goal is to avoid that but when in a pinch thats the route you have to take.

Your big goal right now is to get to level 27 so you can play Vault of Glass. That is where you really start to see helpful gear drops. The next goal is level 30 so you can play Crotas End which will drop gear that can get you to level 32.

I would also suggest starting two other warlocks just so you can transfer gear back and forth until you get everything you need. Make leveling quicker and you can get three times the loot from the weekly strike. Things like STrange Coins so you can buy exotic gear from Xur in the tower. He is selling a warlock cloak today for 13 strange coins.

is the heroic strikes solo missions? i tried a few times and it was just me. says 1-3 players, but if i do regular strikes its always 3 players

Weekly heroic strike will pair you with 2 randoms. It used to only be for solo players or fire teams. They changed that with the last update. This can only be done once per week so you want to do the highest level you can handle to get the most stuff from it. Right now there is no way you can do level 30 on this. I think the next level down is 26 which would be incredibly difficult for you without 2 high ranking fireteam members. I'm sure a pair of any one of us here could probably carry you through this to help you get better gear.

How many strange coins and vanguard marks do you have right now.

ONe correction in this. I said Eris bounties. I meant Eris quests. Her bounties are white and her quests are purple.

Dman, i just try to do a heroic Strike 24 strike and we got owned. lol didnt get pass it. dudes gave up. lol Was pretty difficult

The weekly heroic I assume? Tarrus Valuuc (however you spell it) we call him rockets McDickface. There are a couple good hiding spots you can use in there when you get to the boss. I can show you where they are.

Yeah. Its the ****ing yellow adds that hurt. I can take a rocket or 2 from him. The yellow adds just one shot you at times. I might have to just do level 22 a few times and see if I get gear that way.

Basic gameplan for leveling is as follows: Earn marks. Use your marks to buy legendary armor with 33 light. Level up said armor with ascendant energy from public events & the daily. That will get you from 24 to 30, at which point you can run the weekly heroic at max level and earn 9 strange coins per week. Spend said coins with Xur on things like exotic armor and very useful guns. Do the exotic bounties (yellow ones) to get free exotic guns.

I've bought Red Death & Suros so far, should have bought Icebreaker.

Also, do the Iron Banner event next time it drops. It's the easiest way to get 36 light armor, which gets you to level 32.
