Exactly. And I was never claiming that he didn't have help or didn't open his mouth too much. But cancer is just over-the-top IMO.

I agree 100%

When Kendrick Perkins scores 17 points in 3 quarters I believe you are ****ed.

Al Bundy 02-08-2013 09:35 PM

Damn.. that was a frustrating loss for the Dubs tonight.

I distinctly recall the likes of Austin Croshere and Tayshaun Prince outplaying Kobe in the earlier Finals series in his career. He did more in the last two titles (the 6-24 catastrophe notwithstanding) but was the CLEAR sidekick for at least three of them.

Kobe had no choice but to take a lesser role during that first run. Shaq was the man. Kobe was what 20 years old when the run started and he was still averaging about 25 points per game with Shaq. Shaq doesnt win 3 and go to 4 straight without Kobe and kobe without shaq, ooh well he did 2 of 3.

Kobe did Carry the Lakers through some crucial games in the early 2000's when shaq would foul out.

That 6/24 was just a bad shooting night but he played great that game defensively on Rondo and had what 14 rebounds. he didnt have a bad game, just shot bad. There is more to basketball then just your shooting percentage on a given night.

James Harden update:
He's got 89 points, 21 rebounds, 25 assists, and 7 steals on .651 shooting in three games this week.

He's also moved into 3rd in the league in win shares behind Durant and LeBron. If anybody questioned whether he was a #1 before the trade, I think the answer is obvious now.

its a shame that piece of turd PG is holding him back otherwise he has a 7 foot center, a nice skillset in CPar at SF and spot duty rotation at PF.

they could upgrade at PF and replace that awful number production of Linn and they would be good

This is a great game. Clark stuffs Lebron and then Lebron dunks on alley oop

Lin isn't doing that badly. But he simply can't do the things he used to do with Harden on the court at the same time. It's too bad they gave him the contract he did. He was overpaid before, but he's really overpaid now that he has to play in more of a neutered role.

He's playing basketball about as well as anyone has ever played it right now. Like him or not, enjoy watching him. This type of player doesn't come along very often.

He's on the floor with some great players today, and it's like watching a dad play in the driveway against his kids.
