"My question is this: what will it take for UT (the real UT...University of Texas) to regain bragging rights as the football school of distinction here in the Lone Star State? At this point I am thinking another national championship or at least a Heisman winner."

Travis' answer was very succinct.

"Kevin Sumlin leaving Texas A&M. Until then, you're f---ed."

Look, Alabama has scored 24 offensive points in the past two games. That's an average of 12 a game. And now you want me to give 12.5 against A&M, a team that can definitely score some points as long as they aren't playing a team from Mississippi?

I don't think A&M's that good, but so far I don't think Bama is that good either.

In this situation you take the points.

How do you decide which of Clay's articles to read and which to skip? I understand that you are rarely intellectually consistent, but I thought you might occasionally make the attempt.

(I certainly don't blame you for attempting to deflect attention away from the "big 12", though. You do what you gotta do.)
