Stephenson isn't a rookie anymore.

might as well get a grip

IF ... they are really trying to trade Albert then they are drafting an OT at 1.1.

They aren't going to trade Albert and go into the season with huge holes at both offensive tackle positions.

Especially when they need to validate trading for a QB

so suck it up and get over it

No I'm saying start Stephenson at RT

Direckshun 04-20-2013 04:35 PM

I'd really like the pick to be the 2a.

If it's the 2b, I hope we get a mid-rounder or a late-rounder we could package if we wanted.

and i'm talking about the rookie OT they are going to draft to replace Albert

If they trade Albert then we don't have a clear starter at either OT position.

They are only going to do that if they plan on drafting a Left Tackle at 1.1 who they think can be plugged in on Day 1. Imo.

Mother****erJones 04-20-2013 04:44 PM

Curious question, so if we take our OT 1.1, and get 2a from Miami, would you be mad if we packaged 2a, 4 and a pick next year to move up for Tavon Austin?

Direckshun 04-20-2013 04:45 PM

I would, yes. I'd rather us take the 4 and the pick next year to move into the 3rd.

However, I'm willing to bet we just land the 2b. Because we are the Chiefs.

penbrook 04-20-2013 05:05 PM

Per PFCentral.

@autodrummer3 *Chiefs adamant on second round pick. Big issue is getting Albert to agree to a long term deal with MIA. Negotiations ongoing

It's not my opinion, it's what I was told that it was a 2nd rounder that was agreed on.

I have emailed to ask if its the higher one and haven't heard back.

Ok Thanks.

I have really soured to Albert and his whiney bitch act. You will play whatever position is best for the team.

I still remember him tweeting about how he got screwed out of the probowl like 3 years ago. I remember just laughing thinking how delusional he is

Which leads to the intriguing question. Is it better to pay a LT $10M+ per year? Or to over-draft a LT at 1.1.

Of course, it's possible we do neither.

Except in this case it wouldn't be an over-draft.

I think drafting a LT at 1.1 is a reach. But I'm not as devastated by that as some might be.
