GState is choking hard right now. Should still pull this out but...

KevB 05-02-2013 11:09 PM

Curry trying so hard to play loose, he's making mistakes.

-King- 05-02-2013 11:09 PM

Holy shit. How careless can you get?

dirk digler 05-02-2013 11:10 PM

They are trying to give this game away.

-King- 05-02-2013 11:11 PM

Choke.

KevB 05-02-2013 11:11 PM

Curry and Jack let a rookie take the ball at the end? WTF is happening?

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:13 PM

http://images.wikia.com/uncyclopedia...ller-choke.jpg

-King- 05-02-2013 11:14 PM

What a ****ing choke. Just trying to give this game away. They can't even inbound the ball.

okcchief 05-02-2013 11:15 PM

JFC what a meltdown.

KevB 05-02-2013 11:15 PM

This looks like Wichita St. vs. Louisville

dirk digler 05-02-2013 11:15 PM

Seems to me GS needs to practice in bounding the ball

KevB 05-02-2013 11:15 PM

That ball was never out, and Faried ended up with a dunk

Yep. Would have been called as such in Denver I bet.

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:16 PM

WTF are these calls?

okcchief 05-02-2013 11:17 PM

I can't remember a team having so much trouble inbounding the ball. Damn!

Al Bundy 05-02-2013 11:17 PM

C'mon Jack.. hit these free throws.

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:17 PM

GState is lucky the refs are saving them here because it would have been the ultimate choke.

Al Bundy 05-02-2013 11:17 PM

2 HUGE free throws.

-King- 05-02-2013 11:18 PM

Ok, that was a good call.

Al Bundy 05-02-2013 11:18 PM

GREAT call by the refs.. made the correct call.

Golden State wins!!!!

-King- 05-02-2013 11:19 PM

Kind of win where you can't properly celebrate if you're a GS fan.

okcchief 05-02-2013 11:19 PM

They are fortunate, but it counts.

WOOHOO. Nice win GS and avoided the biggest choke job that I can remember in a long time

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:20 PM

Mark Jackson says it was God. I just think it was GState choking.

KevB 05-02-2013 11:20 PM

Missing Gallo and his perimeter shooting really killed Denver. He was their only consistent threat from the perimeter in the half court.

Yeah, it's not the Lakers or Celtics here. Advancing is a big accomplishment for this team this year. Everything else is gravy now.

Hell yes you can, especially since you haven't been to the playoffs since 2007 and have had Chiefs 2012 like seasons in between.

Big loss.

okcchief 05-02-2013 11:23 PM

Mark Jackson has done a pretty good job, but I've never liked him. I'm just glad I don't have to listen to him call games anymore.

Al Bundy 05-02-2013 11:23 PM

Bring on San Antonio.

I'm thinking 4-0 SAS after that display at the end there, but GState has surprised me before.

He needed to change the culture there, and for the most part he got it done. He portrayed GS as a defense first team, I'm sure realizing that guys like Lee and Curry are never going to be good defenders. His ability to bring along Barnes and Green has been really big for them, and he gets a lot of credit there as well.

Wasn't sure if he was crediting God for the win or just for the choking at the end. If it was for the choking, God apparently really didn't want the Warriors to win.

I think GS wins at least one at Oracle, that crowd is amazing.

I am thinking it goes 6 games.

And this series was awesome between GS-Denver. Every game was great and fun.

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:32 PM

Jackson had them all in prayer there. I guess that explains some of that interview.

Al Bundy 05-02-2013 11:32 PM

Reggie Miller dropping the shit bomb on air. I love it.

My pick with be SAS in 4 or 5, I think. Can definitely see them getting a game if they shoot well from range, but the Spurs are damn tough. They play defense in a way that teams like DEN and GS can't even come close to matching.

The McGee blocking foul = garbage
The Faried phantom tripping = garbage
The ball out of bounds = garbage

critical moments in the game, especially the phantom tripping call giving Faried 3 fouls early in the second

The last one where the guy hugging him was standing out of bounds?

You got a make up call.

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:42 PM

I will say that if Mark Jackson thinks that series was physical, he's gonna be in for a bit of a surprise when San Antonio comes in.

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:42 PM

Kenny and Charles already looking ahead to SAS and MEM in the West finals. LMAO

Al Bundy 05-02-2013 11:43 PM

I don't expect the Warriors to win more than 1 game against the Spurs.

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:45 PM

Four Game 6's tomorrow. Don't get a night like that often. Should be fun, even if none of them will be on TNT.

KC_Connection 05-02-2013 11:48 PM

Damn, OKC/HOU and LAC/MEM on at same time tomorrow.

Wish they had moved the IND and ATL series/the one I don't care about at all to one of those time slots so I could watch both of those in full.

Think he's talking about the one that went to replay. The ball never actually went out of bounds. Brewer saved it to Faried who had an uncontested dunk. Huge missed missed, tough one though as the ball was very close to the line.

Yeah, no disrespect to any teams (including my own) but they are the best teams at this moment in time. I'm disappointed that we don't get to play Memphis at full strength because the first series with them was so much fun. As I have said before we've been fortunate in the injury front, and I knew one day it would catch up.

I'd much rather some new blood come out of the West though. Memphis is the only team capable IMO.

Obviously I want my team to win, but it would be that much more satisfying after the team was completely disregarded after the Rudy Gay trade. Come to find out, you can win a few games without a guy shooting 18 times at a 40% clip.

Did you know Colangelo reportedly wanted to give him an extension last month? Insane. He was stopped from doing so by the board, though. They seem to be finally losing faith in him (and the Phil Jackson to Toronto rumor would seem to indicate that as well).

KC_Connection 05-03-2013 12:27 AM

Shaq just called Barkley out on the air for interviewing for the Phoenix GM job. He didn't deny it either.

I'd take him in Toronto if it meant the end for Colangelo.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 05-03-2013 05:37 PM

Paul Pierce should retire before the second half.

-King- 05-03-2013 07:34 PM

No one's watching this game? Headed toward an epic ending.

-King- 05-03-2013 07:48 PM

Celtics run out of gas. Knicks will win this one.

Al Bundy 05-03-2013 07:52 PM

Carmelo still sucks...

KC_Connection 05-03-2013 08:09 PM

To the real conference now.

KevB 05-03-2013 08:35 PM

Joey Crawford and his crew are a nightmare in this game, it's a complete joke.

KevB 05-03-2013 08:37 PM

Bayless just terrible. He can shoot (when he's hot), otherwise he really does nothing positive. Not a good defender, not a point guard, nothing.

KevB 05-03-2013 08:42 PM

Think you might want to fing guard Matt Barnes. JFC

Joey Crawford and his crew are always a nightmare. He insists on inserting himself into games whenever he can.

KevB 05-03-2013 08:46 PM

Honestly, the Clippers are playing harder than the Grizzlies.

KevB 05-03-2013 08:52 PM

HOW DO YOU CALL THAT A BLOCK?

okcchief 05-03-2013 08:53 PM

It's pretty apparent what the Thunder need to do to win. If he goes back to Perkins we will lose, and will deserve to lose. Lets see if the stubborn dummy learns.

KC_Connection 05-03-2013 08:55 PM

Great half there.

Why did Presti bring this clown back?
