O & Phil, would like to join in if you're gonna play in the Berg sometime. I used to play up there a lot in my younger years. (made Payne Stewart pick golf over football, after I KO'd him in a game in 74) You all remember Silers Shady Acres out on south National? Now a sub-division, LOVED to play out there. Played @ Horton, Deer Lake, Grandview (ie Stewart) Twin Oaks, Hidden Valley is a blast!!! Think I broke 275 once, of course 13 of that was clubs!!!

I was jumping the fence at Horton in 1974 when I was a wee lad of 13.

Holy Christ...

Apparently, the only prerequisite for playing Women's Division III golf is to have a pulse.

Here are the scores from a tournament played outside Philly. Make sure to scroll ALL the way down.

Meh, no biggie on the golf. In 7 years she'll be breast-feeding a youngin anyway.

Not even gonna point out the idea that the majority of women golfers are fur traders.....that would be politically incorrect

Wow, with title 9 in play, perhaps some men have an opportunity. For that matter, if you're not opposed to wearing a kilt and having a name like Stack, you could have ur college paid for.

If they're not shaving the fur, it's just as well...

Most golf programs at that level are club sports and aren't likely given money for scholarships

I kinda assumed that, but how do you in good conscious put a girl out there who can't break 100 in NINE holes?

I'd pay money to see how she carded a 60 on one hole. I can't imagine being in the groups behind her.

Goddammit.

Had my first round in the 70's in my sights. 1-over through 7 holes.

Then proceeded to take four doubles and a triple for a crowd pleasing 85.

Bleh.
So you would have walked away with that trophy?

OnTheWarpath15 04-01-2015 06:46 PM

Would have came in 4th.

LMAO

When I played in college we had to help with some junior tournaments, instruction, keeping score etc.

I've seen some 120s and above, it's brutal
