Remember Dorsey came from the Packers ala drafting Rodgers in the first round when they had Favre. I feel like this is the same situation. All signs are pointing to Geno right now.

It's fun to think about, but there is no chance they are taking Geno at 1.

Joeckel, Jordan, Ansah, Fisher, Floyd, Johnson. But only at there pro days.

Geno and Millner will actually be at Arrowhead. Nobody else was. Plus Millners visit is one day as Genos is 2 days. And by the way April 1 is when they start the offseason condition workout.. Coinseidence??

Alex Smith starts his KC tenure rather awkwardly with flashbacks to last season. Reid is a tough cookie.

Yes, I'm certain they are going to spend both the 1st and 2nd round picks on QBs. Especially after running the existing LT out of town, and inheriting a 2-14 team with far more holes than capable players.

Hey, we get it. You don't want the Chiefs to draft Geno Smith, and you'll say anything you can think of to try to justify your position.

There is nothing wrong with spending the 1st and 2nd picks on quarterbacks. Have you already forgot what Washington gave up in order to move and draft RG3? It's been stated on this board about a billion times.

Oh the irony ROFL ROFL ROFL LMAO LMAO

I couldn't help but notice that you chose to respond to the first part of my post, but then you deleted the second part so you wouldn't have to respond to it.

I'll go ahead and tell you what the Redskins gave up. They gave up THREE first round picks and a second round pick.

Do you understand? THREE FIRST ROUND PICKS AND A SECOND ROUND PICK. And then they used a fourth round pick to draft Kirk Cousins.

How did that work out for the Redskins again? Did they make the playoffs? Do they have a bright future with a quarterback who looks like he'll be elite?

If the Chiefs wind up giving up a first round pick for Geno Smith and two second round picks for Alex Smith, I'd say they did a helluva job. They will have created one of the best quarterback situations in the NFL, and they'll have done it a hell of a lot cheaper than the Redskins did.

Geno Smith sitting behind Alex Smith for a year and some change wouldn't be a whole lot different that Colin Kaepernick sitting behind Alex Smith for a year and some change. How did that work out for the 49ers again?

If you'd quit slobbering on Luke Joeckel's knob long enough to look at what the successful NFL teams are doing, you'd understand that.

QB is the most important position on the field by far and now we've got people crying that it would be too much to invest in it? **** that. Throw as many resources as possible to get it fixed, the rest of the team around it is good enough to compete now.

BossChief 03-27-2013 09:28 PM

I can't see them bringing Geno Smith to KC for a 2 day workout as a smokescreen.

I wonder if Clark will be there.

Remember when he said they missed Geno at the senior bowl?

Yeah I wonder what Clarks part is in the whole thing. Maybe he's put down the mandate to fix the QB position. "Get me a starter, viable backup and then draft the best QB and develope him!" We can only hope.

There were two high ranking officials from the Chiefs at Genos pro day. Reid and Dorsey were at another pro day..

Wow, awesome insight! I hadn't thought to discuss any of this until you brought it up.

ProFootballExpress 03-27-2013 09:52 PM

oh yes i know quite the puzzling questions i know. lol. I am merely getting the input back from the fans themselves and posting the results on my site. what better way to find out then ask the chiefs fans themselves? but yes you are correct, very thought provoking lol.
