Put 8 in the box to stop Jamaal, and Geno will light up the secondary. Play a dime package to slow down the passing attack, then Jamaal will rip you to shreds 5-6 yards at a time. Pick your poison.

Fun fact: Jamaal is in sole possession of 2nd place all-time in runs of 80+ yards. He's got 4, no one else has more than 3 except for Chris Jonson's 6.

3 of those are this year too.

I'd like to see some stats of how many yards he's lost due to holding penalties. I can think of 3 good runs called back , 50, 30 and 30 I,m thinkin.

he did a pretty good job on that play...didn't deliver a block or anything but he kept the defender from making a play

Yet despite another stellar season from JC, we are 2-13. Hate to say it, but what value is an elite RB when we have one of the best, and yet have the worst offense in the league? It's all about the QB.

tru dat

This and at times some horrible blocking resulting in some big losses. Bet he should have an additional 200 yards from all the negative gains and holding calls.

JAMAAL CHARLES IS THE ONLY JC I WORSHIP

Pasta Little Brioni 12-25-2012 12:28 AM

Well, when we do finally get a QB....it's even more JC rape. Hell, a slapdick like Slowshon can only muster 3 and a half yards a carry against a 6 man front with safeties 20 yards off the ball. Ridiculous how good Charles is when the D only focuses on him.

I think he runs just like Marcus Allen, with the big difference being he's much faster.

JC runs tall, has very long strides, amazing field vision, and tends to almost always fall forward for an extra yard. That's why I say that. Marcus did all of those things, but he couldn't fly like JC can.

Yep.

You don't have to lay a guy out to be successful.

:hmmm: i do believe you're onto something there.

JC seems to do well because people are all in the box and he can break off big runs. I don't know about him getting tackled 30 times after 6 yards a play.
