It's been obvious for a long time he has emotional issues and bipolar tendencies.

He'll likely be diagnosed BPD and next year every network will be running lifetime movie network type stories about how he had a major psychiatric illness that nobody ever knew about that caused him to be so troublesome in S.F and Philly...finally he gets to dallas and his illness (which he had no control over), almost took his life. Now he's on medication and getting couseling and life is grand.

This will be a positive thing for T.O.

Uh, folks...when was the last time that laws along the lines of "72-hour mandatory psych observation" were applicable to celebrities/powerful individuals?

Sorry, it's a nice theory (that he'd be under observation if he'd actually tried to kill himself), but it holds absolutely zero water in the celebrity-driven culture we live in.
